    Man Roy, you would be the Keeper of the Knowledge...the Librarian... in the Post Apocalyptic World for sure....maybe Information Czar!!...If I ever need to find an alchemists formula from 16th century Bavaria I know just WHO to ask!!!

    I've just always sort of expected some sort of social collapse and figured if it happened in my lifetime it would be a good thing to have a wide scope of knowledge. Heck there was even a time when my mental database of technical knowledge would help me find a job but those are like dinosaurs it seems, it's all about who you know and having a degree wether or not you really know jack shit about the trade in question.

    Stumbled across the list while trying to find ebooks on wild edibles,,,

    I found some of the Scribd.com links are defunct but there are at least related titles listed in place of the document.

    Scribd has some great stuff on there. I've found many a cool and useful info on there. :)

    I've also found Google books pretty useful, lots of good stuff from the early 1900's on "how-to" relating to basic electricity, mechanics, metalworking and so forth.

    Some of my favorites are the Foxfire books. I used to have them years ago. Recently found working links to pdf's of them. :) this makes me happy. Some good reading there.
