there are some foods that i think taste really good the second time around.....by the way....i'm the queen of leftovers....always am bringing home food and always am saving food that is left over....today i had leftover spaghetti.....it was tastier this time around.....i also love leftover mac and cheese...... how about you all?
I like leftovers as well. Sometimes food just tastes better the next day. Left over mac and cheese is better re-heated in my opinion. I like to dump in a can of baked beans.
yes....reheated mac and cheese is better than the first time around..... know what's good.....mac and cheese with chili....mmmm.....
Turn left over steak (whether it be a rib eye or tri-tip or any kind), slice it into small slices, grill it a little more with some onions and slap it on some bread with mayo and horse radish
that sounds divine.... my solution to the leftover ravioli i had...... http://www.hipforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=14968
It is important not to serve a left-over dish that looks like one. Use garnishes and sauces to make it attractive: such as grated cheese or browned breadcrumbs to garnish the top of oven dishes; fresh, crisp lettuce leaves and slices of red tomatoes to add colour; slices of hard-boiled egg to decorate a ring of potatoes, or yam, around minced meat; flowerettes of cauliflower and slices of carrot, carefully cooked so that they are still firm.
I rarely have any leftovers, I try to portion control while i'm cooking so I'm not going up for seconds but chicken wings are better after they've been stuck in the fridge
