MGMT newest album

I loved it. I thought it was a lot more experimental and unconventional than oracular. The fact that they lost a couple of fans because of this album shows how really strange, but still wonderful, it was.

 

Wonderful album, really. I remember when it came out that they made a comment that they were deliberately trying to do something less accessible to maintain their indie rock cred, which was a bit irritating. That said, i still enjoy the album quite a bit.

 

Check out Tame Impala if you like MGMT.

 

Both bands are Psych but that's where the similarities end. Great band, though. I would also recommend them
