I have stupid dreams all the time.

I was trying to relax after my shift by playing mah jong. When I went to bed I dreamed about work, and not only was I waiting tables, but I had to match up the two orders that were the same I could turn my tables.

I really hate dreaming about work. I have a boring job. Why cant I dream about cool shit, shit that I daydream about?

I also hate the crap-tastic music they play at my job. Some backstreet boys or destiny's child song slips into my sub-conscience and it will play in my dreams over and over.

I smoke enough weed, and I almost always smoke before bed

nope no opiates in the past month or so (of course that not for lack of trying)

try hearing "i want it that way" on repeat. anything played over and over becomes shitty.

Hi delilah sunshyne, maybe just turn tables and bring two and two together (and like in Majjong imagine a nice firework at the end).

I found for myself when I act differently in waking life, the dreams change as well. Like, when I talk to an animal I meet on the road, animals tend to show in my dream more frequently afterwards. For a while.

Probably boredom is the perfect stage right before a creative attack.

So maybe just use your daydreaming. Invent a dream life enhancer and don't forget to make sketches ... don't use anything already existing. Think up backstreet boy songs that take out all the boredom instead of adding to it. Write down your daydreams in a journal. And above all, let your dreams be good dreams, they too work hard washing the daily residue out of your system, so just honour them. You could draw maps as to where the dreams take you. Imagine the work situation is but the surface yet underneath you find all the magic you are missing.

    Hope this helps.
