I posted this on another forum and all i got was wankers replying. I just upset Mr L. We were watching Angelina Jolie i was fantasizing about her lips and without thinking i said to him you'd be perfect if you had her c**k sucking lips. I realised what i said as soon as i heard my stupid mouth. I apologized but he's gone to bed angry, really angry, we never sleep on an argument but lately he's been paranoid about people thinking he's a hick because he's Lithuanian. This came up in the argument he's hands down the smartest funniest and sometimes the most romantic and not a little gorgeous-est man i know. His paranoia isn't entirely paranoia because i hear what some people say about immigrants some of it very nasty. But at home this is not true this is the place he should feel safe and now i think i've f**ked that up. What do i do? That was hours ago and after a cool-down i apologised again, he called me a prick, i agreed, all is well. Until next time. I mean the persecution he is feeling. Sometimes at work he feels people are talking about him the Polish and English have particular problems with Lithuanians. All i can say to him is they may be(i can't lie about what i know to be true) but he has to ignore them because they're tossers. I don't know what to do. Any advice anyone?

Sounds To Me Like It Was Just Bad Timing And No Malice Was Intended. My Advice Would Be, Turn Off The Puuuter, Cuddle Up Close, Then "Bonk His Brains" Out.... Thanks for having a look, all sound advice we're all cool now, but in the future i'm worried about the stuff going on at work. The racism is bad and there seems to be a growing tension which is impacting on him. I'm off to cuddle up close
i think he blew your joke a little out of proportion. but that's understandable if he's taking crap at work. if you're down about yourself you're less open to jokes on the topic of yourself. a lot of people are dumb fucks who enjoy making other people feel small cause that's a way for them to feel better about themselves. he shouldn't care about the opinions of such people, but it still can't be easy to be around that negativity on a daily basis. just let him know you don't think of him the way those people do, and be there for him when he needs it.
