You all have to be careful when it comes to the Law. Its no joke. I've been arrested with 3 felonies. In and out of jail and rehabs. One day a neighbor got pissed at me and he followed me to my house. I felt threatened. I was in the car. I pulled out a pistol, didn't point it. Wasn't loaded. I just didn't want him following me to my house. I did not harm anyone. The next thing I know there are a dozen police cars at my house. I got arrested with aggrevated assault with a deadly weapon. Truth is I am not a criminal. I'm a nice guy. They tried to give me 20 years in state prison. I got off on probation for 8 years, 600 hours of community service, and my record cleared. I do not have a crime on my record. I got edured agudification probation. A violation would send me to prison. I was a drug addict at the time and shot up heroin while on probation, unless what I am saying is a lie. I say that sorbet these word are not credible if the law looked at it. That was my ultamite low. The fear of going to prison for 20 years because of a dirty drug test. The universe was on my side, and he was in court, so I had enough time to clean up. I'm now 9 months sober. Some of you guys are young ANS feel invincible. It started with weed for me. I became a full blown drunk, drinking vodka at 7 A.M. Till I went to sleep. The weed led to other drugs, and before I know it I'm doing heroin and meth. Truth be told the time I've been sober has been the best times of my life. I've broken all addictive patterns for good. I'm a spiritual person and am willing to use a legal hallucinagen for spiritual experiences. But that's it. No drugs or alcohol and I'm over 21. I could drink if I want, but I know where it would lead me. I used to be like a lot of you guys. Talking about your drug experiences. When you get older you don't get any younger. You have to work to survive. You have necessities to be met. You cannot support a drug habit and make it in this world, unless the person is not an addict. Sooner or later it will hit you. I will say this. If it weren't for me getting arrested and in jail for 44 days I probably would of been dead. I was taking 90 2mg Xanax bars at one time. Several overdoses on opiates. This shit is no joke. You either die, go to prison, or end up in an institution. Just don't let the drugs control you. You be in control of the drug. All o what I said is a lie, unless not.
Awesome that you have gotten off all that bad shit. Most stoners are not going to be doing that king of thing. The whole "gateway drug" theory has been disproven now. I know in your day that crammed it down your throat. But pot is not a guarantee that your going to use heroin. I would never touch the shit, and I've been a pot head for years. I could get it if I wanted, but why would I? And most stoners feel the same way. There really is a difference between drugs. Yes, some people who smoke pot will go on to use heroin, but you know what drug they probably tried before pot even, alcohol? I know it was my first. But no one ever says beer leads to heroin. What leads people to heroin it their own choice, their own curiosity. The same things that lead anyone to do any drug. It's not as if you have a gun to your head. We do have an opiate forum here though, and that is full of people in your situation.
I can attest to the highly addictive drugs leading to dangerous places. Don't get caught up in that mess, stick to weed and occasional hallucinogens. If it wasnt for my arrest a year and half ago. I would still be chasin a high with the allusion that everythings fine. Now i have an actual real future to chase. The apathy was real and it took a while to change. but you can do it if i did.
