    Everyones strapping down for the storm in nyc...The transit system is gone today..I think it hits tommorow....I hope people dont die :gossip:

    This is like the opposite of giant snowstorms that come through both the northern and southern states. Everyone up north goes about their business while the south completely shuts down for four days.

    Shutting down public transportation for a storm thats predicted to be a category 1 by landfall in NYC? Is that really neccessary?

    This storm really gets hyped too much- its a cat1 storm. What will they do when there is a cat3? Go nuts? Or a cat5- will they explode?

    Well its just the begin of hurricane season. Maybe we will get more interesting storms than that one. Something like Andrew hitting a big city would be cool:)
