we all know about potentiation and synergies with our opiates. if not, i can compile a list and sources... or if it is needed in this forum. anyway, the subject of this thread is: thoughts on potentiation. >do any of you do it? >how often? >do you enjoy it? personally, i do not like it. i feel as if it adds a dirty(for lack of a better term) aspect to the opiate experience. though, it definitely does work. i used to do it almost every time i dosed, and am glad i don't do it anymore. the only time i could see myself utilizing the procedure in the future is if i was short for the month and wanted to increase the duration of what i had left; fortunately that has yet to be something i need to do. i do like 200mg of tramadol before dosing other opiates, just for the potentiating qualities, of course. i receive no high from the tramadol.
So If U Used To DO It Every Time Before U Dosed, Y Dont U Share With The Rest Of Us How And What U Did To Make It Work??
I've never noticed anything ever making a huge difference as far as potentiation goes with things like tramadol or promethazine or whatever. Only thing that ever really did for me were benzos (and of course booze).
what DXM product is best for lower or stablizing ur tolerance ? And how many miligrams / doses should one take as well as how often? Like once a day or right before the opiate intake? What happens if you do pills like 3-4 times a day?
"30-45mg about 45 minutes to an hour before ingesting an opiate" source : http://www.bluelight.ru/vb/threads/...lection-of-the-evidence-and-anecdotal-reports
I hate mixing opioids with any other depressant drug. It, indeed, feels dirty and detracts from the opioid magic. The only drug I will mix with my beloved opioids is Dextroamphetamine. I potentiate by actively working to keep my tolerance at bay using NMDA-antagonist supplementation (in my case, Agmatine, an agent like Namenda that Alzheimer's drug).
Promethazine works because of the antihistimine in it. When I got prescribed some codeine syrup with guaifenesin instead of promethazine i didnt get nearly as fucked up. The antihistimine inhibits a certain liver enzyme that metabolizes the codeine, so you have a tremendously higher opiate blood levels.
Would really like for you to tell your whole story on your attempts to lower your tollerance overall. Because you used to use magnesium before Agmatine......
