Porn Poll: When did it start for you?

Ok, its 2011. Some of us grew up with porn right there online, while some had secret access to their dad's DVD / VHS collection.

So when did you start watching porn?

And what do you think of the access kids have now a days? Is it OK or NOT OK for them to be watching porn young? Is there a "right" age?

 

When I was growing up, porn wasn't easily available.
But, at about age 12, I noticed that the Sears catalog had some interesting bra ads. :drool5:

 

I started around age 15 or 16, renting from video rentals and buying magazines. I remember watching some pretty interesting "art" porn from England and Germany made in the 70s in the little window between coming back from school and mom coming back from work. I`ve been trying to find them since then, but without luck.

Porn did not start to be a regular influence in my life until my early 20s. Even back then, I remember there were a lot more homemade sites, which I liked. Eventually, my sex life and attitudes were definitely changed by porn consumption, which I think is for the best.

About kids, I couldn`t give less of a fuck. No pun intended.

Edit: I remember being 15 and seeing a porn mag with a girl with spread pussy lips and feeling disgusted by it. LOL!

 

Well, I'm a girl, but I started reading erotic stories online when I was like 12. I didn't even know what masturbating was then, so I didn't do that, I just got tingly while I read and then went and did some 12 year old stuff, I guess. lol

My gay (male) best friend was the one who introduced me to porn when he found out I'd never seen an erection or ejaculation before when I was 16 or so. I had never even dared to look it up, I used my dad's computer and didn't know how to clear the history. So my friend found a couple that were just one guy each and sent them to me. A curiosity was sparked, but I didn't dig too much for porn and just admired the picture that was sent to me every now and then.

I found my dad's collection when I was 17 or 18, digging through the extra closet. He had Debbie Does Dallas and I laughed. I didn't watch any of them, I just put them back and got the heebie jeebies. Cuz...that belonged to my dad. Ugh. lol

But I don't think I really started watching porn until I got my own computer when I was 17.

 

Kinky Ramona, I think you're right -- I think a lot of girls start with erotic lit, more so than videos. I remember buying the book "Women on Top" (a collection of women's sexual fantasies) when I was about 15? I fell in LOVE with erotic literature after that, and still enjoy it now and prefer it to visual pornography. I am a very visual girl. But ... there's something about the written form of erotica. I can make the players look exactly the way I want, and the experience is more detailed, descriptive, etc.

Anyway -- so I started reading at 15, and looking at magazines, etc. with my BF shortly thereafter. Every now and then at a party someone would have a porno on tv, but that wasn't really what I'd call "watching" because it was in a large group.

 

i was probably somewhere in the 10-12 range when me and my best friend at the time discovered his uncle's playboy collection. i was probably about 12-13 when me and my cousin discovered what happens on cinemax late at night. a few months later, late night cinemax became somewhat of a hobby. i think i was about 17 when my family finally got the internet, and well, the rest is history..

for me 11-13

 

Found an old clothing chest in my crawlspace when I was in kindergarten. Stole a penthouse mag out of it and brought it to the park to show my friends, tossed it on the road out front of my house not really knowing it was something "special". Fuck must have caused a moment of panic when my step-dad saw it laying there. Never questioned me though, too embarrassed i guess.

 

i first found my mom's porn stories book, just letters written by men about their sexual encounters and from there I discovered internet porn and was hooked- was around 12.

 

Mmmm for me i was about 12 when i actually start paying attention to the titty calender and odd porno mags laying around in the garage. Our PC was right in the lounge so to look at porn everyone had to be out & even then you didn't wanna be deleting browser history in front of people when they came home. But me and my mate got lucky walking home from school one afternoon, when we cut through the park lands to get back to my place we found a monster stash of porn that had been dumped. So that kept us entertained for a while.

I think the "right" age for porn is when it finds you..

 

first i watched porn when i 12 or 13 with my best friend. he rented the video and we watched together at my house.

 

I was 12 or 13 when i found late night "movies" and started internet porn at 13 or 14.

I think the right age is when you have the will to find it yourself, so long as you dont go further while "young"

 

My dad had some pretty big magazine collections, which I saw when i was really young, but I opted for the 18+ because I didn't start looking at porn to get off til I was 20. Before that I was very anti porn... then o grew up!

 

I was 22 when I sought out and watched porn for the first time. Really.

I'd accidentally come across internet porn before that, but it was the worst kind you can imagine (someone else's computer) and I guess that put me off until I was old enough to work through what I'd seen in my head.

I was utterly sexually-repressed for a good few years. That sucked.

 

at age 7 I would sneak my parents copy of the Joy of Sex... as far as internet or playboy types stuff I was probably 11 or 12

 

I discovered masurbating at 7 or 8 when my fetishes first started surfacing, but it was around 10 I first noticed looking at sexy pictures made me all tingley.

Daddy and Mom had a couple movies I found when I was 11 and would sneak and watch, then at 12 I typed "spanking" into a yahoo search and it has been downhill from there . Talk about some MAJOR quality increases in the last 10 years, lol!

 

As far as erotic literature, when I was about 12-13 I found a book at the library by an author named Nancy Friday. It was a compilation of stories/fantasies that men sent in to her regarding incest fantasies. It was my first exposure to sex stories and it really turned me on. I remember being embarrassed to check out the book, so I 'borrowed' it by putting it in my coat.
As far as porn, first videos I saw were at 16-17. They featured Ginger Lynn. She is still amazing to watch - what a body, and she knew how to use it. I remember seeing "Taboo IV" with Ginger. It is a very well made feature porn that was shot on film. It also has an incest theme. It's still available and I would recommend it if you have not seen it.
