According to the sources I was reading, it certainly did! And True Life Experience (or lack of it for her) reflected the same...that there was definitely a "connotation" to be had from having an extremely short life line. The only really long life lines I ever saw were in people I'd guess to be at least 55+. I don't look at palms anymore.
I have always been curious about hand reading. I recently got a book on this and will let you know as I study more.
If your life line reaches the wrist "circlets", you will probably live a "normal" amount of time, or even more... (if I remember correctly)
The book I have said you can't tell how long a person will live by its lifeline, but that's just one source. I'll probably read up on it more once I'm done with this book. Then we'll see..
