so, a buddy dropped off a plant, without any indication he would, and i have no equptment of anything to raise this plant, i was wondering if an incandescent bulb would do temporairily ( like a week or 2) while i try to get the $ for a proper light, also i have like no growing space and dont really know what to do.... idk, if anybody has had this issue and had the plant turn out ok, but i would like to salvage this plant. right now it looks a bit top-heavy though :/ with a thinish stem and broad leaves on top with leaves just starting to grow down the stem... idk i really want to save it...

    LOTS of DISTANT incadescence.

    or maybe outside..

more than likely you're gonna have to tell the buddy he's retarded for not being able to take care of the plant and not setting you up prior to the transfer.

do you think a combonation of incandescent and compact florescent would be fine? i ended up turning a cardboard box into a temp shelter from my cats, and other light ( i know this wont do for a long period of time) until i clean out my closet.. and i have the top part of the box open with the light resting on top so that the incandescent light is 4 feet away from the plant with a loose sheet of cardboard on top of the light for ventalation/protection the plant is about 1 foot tall so far. generally i have a green thumb, but thats with veggies and stuff out doors, and i understand how to care and love plants, give them what they need ect, but ive never tried anything indoors and moving stuff out doors isnt an option right now :/. ye.. buddy is pretty retarded, ripped off all the bottom leaves cuz he thought it would make it bushier (took off more than 2/3!) but you can see that they're growing back (wich is awesome) so i hope it survives :). but ty rocklobster and death :)

oh, and im watering / misting water regularly to create a moderatly humid environment for it, also trying to maintain the temp aroun 22-23 cegrees celcius ( i think thats around 75 farenheit..idk) please tell me if i am doing something that will adversely affect the plant, im only going by my general garden knowledge.. and stuff ive read online about indoor growing

Scrap all thoughts of using incandesent light they offer nothing for growing. Use tubes and eco bulbs place them 3-4 inches above plant. Any eco or tube marked with a K rating of 2000-2700 is good and any marked 4000k and above is also good use around 80 watts and above per square foot for growing anything less and growth will slow down and or go leggy. 70-80f is good and cannabis likes wet dry cycle type watering.

dude get yourself some cfls curly lights..The plants love them but you have to get them close like within 1/2 inch..Not sure if you can flower with these lights but for veg they are nice and cheep
pot is easy to grow let them dry out on top before you water again..They like it that way
