Some of you may remember my thread last year about my wife and I expecting our first child, maybe not. But I figured I'd go ahead and write to let you all know what happened. Last October my wife suddenly woke up middle of the night bleeding so we called her doc, the doc said it was normal but the next day it got worse so her parents took her to the Greenwood Hospital. I got a call at work that afternoon that she'd gone into labor and I would've been happy but it was almost 4 months too early. So anyway I rushed to the hospital and at first we thought everything would be alright cause they said they could stop the labor. We were shipped to another hospital in Indy to get the surgery done but once we got there they said they couldn't do anything cause her placenta, I think it was that, was too far disdended. So we spent 3 days there waiting to see if the labor would stop on it's own at the doctors urging. But sad to say it didn't happen. She gave birth to our first son on October 29th at around 3 am. His name was Tuvyah Alexander Wooden. He only lived about an hour and we spent that time holding him, crying, and telling him how much we loved him. Since then I've had to deal with her family calling me a baby killer and all sorts of other things but I guess I've learned to live with it. They think I told the nurses and doctor not to try and recussitate even tho in reality I begged them to do every goddamn thing they could to get him to us alive. But anyway I write this in memory of our son. You will always be loved and cherished Tuvyah and we hope you're happy now.
I'm sorry to hear that man. :grouphug: But in no way are you a baby killer, and its terrible someone is willing to let their grief effect them to the point where you are made to feel like shit.
Words fail to express the feeling though the feeling is profound... And the words are that I hope your little man lights the way for more joy to come in your future. Perhaps that was his mission for you.
I just read this and it brought tears to my eyes. I am sorry for what you are going through and I hope that you know you didn't do anything wrong. Peace.
