Hi everyone! Wow, I didn't even know there was a forum like this! I just wanted to say hi to everyone and say that I remember very fondly (I'm 35) tripping on some good acid we used to get from Philly when I was 16-21. There was the C&D canal right down the street, which was deserted and perfect for tripping parties. We would hang out down there all night, running around on the dirt roads, camping, driving with 4 people hanging for their lives on my '79 Malibu station wagon roof rack! I remember my first trip. My friend had a strobe light. First, I started to feel all tingly in my abdomen, and I started lauging my ass off. But I really didn't notice any visuals until we turned the lights off and busted out the strobe light...holy crap! I swear when I looked at my left arm, it appeared as if it had completely detached from my body and I was moving it with my right hand...that was so freakin' cool! I love the visuals, the colors, the patters, the swirling spirals, the cones... One time was really cool. We were at my friend's grandmother's farm right off the Chesapeake Bay and it was night time. I was tripping balls and laying on the pier. The sea of black around the pier rapidly turned into a omnidirectional ocean of swirling colors and patterns. I literally compeletely lost my bearings and I had to crawl on all fours back to land! I haven't tripped in almost 20 years! Wow!! I wish I knew how to make that happen again...but I moved to South Florida and everyone I tripped with either doesn't get high at all or they've turned into alcoholics. Mark

If you get with the local scene and make yourself open things tend to happen. As someone posted in another thread it's a pretty psychedelic world out there it's just very underground. Hit some shows and art events. It's out there. You might even discover that there's so much more to Lucy than pretty colors or watching your arm detach.:daisy:
welcome to the forums i feel obligated to chastise you for driving while tripping. i trust you have matured in the past 20 or so years i never completely lost my bearing like you described. my last trip on "just" 2 hits made walking pretty difficult and undesirable, so i laid down on some rocks and mud, staring at a wall of shale rocks of every shade of gray and brown that you can't imagine. how many hits did you take for that time on the pier? most # hits ever? i've taken 4, but less has been more if you know what i mean
