the Mountain Goats anyone?

personnaly, I love this band. Admitedly, the music is kinda repetitive and simplistic, but ive always been more about lyrics than the actual music, which is blasphemy to any musicians out there, and for that I appologize, but John Darniel's lyrics blow me away. every time I hear one of his songs for the first time, I get sucked in. the amount of emotion he puts in his songs is unreal. the only way I can descibe it is Playfully Depressed. for anyone who hasn't heard any of it and wants to, try to find or download any of these songs

Yeah, I love the Mountain Goats. And Darnielle is a good, personable fellow! I was going to say "And No Children!" but then I noticed it was one of the songs you mentioned. Yeah, if there is just one thing the video smacks of it's got to be aloofness!
