some family flipped out a little on me at a regional last year

so some family flipped out on me a little at a regional gathering last year

no one said anything to me directly about this, but I think it may be related to something which I've asked about in another thread

I've practiced tantra for a number of years, and apparent a by product of this practice (or doing this practice incorrectly?) is giving off a strong odor very easily

at last year's gathering, I left a pair of jeans in a plastic bag out in a field overnight. it rained that night, and the jeans got wet, so the next day, I hung them up on a line.

I got some pretty bad negative vibe from some family about that time, so I think that could be related. I have very bad sense of smell, so I wouldn't know

anyway, I certainly apologize to anyone that I may have unintentionally offended. I'm sad though that family would just hate on me instead of saying something

I've asked some more experienced tantrics about this on-line, but I don't have response yet

 

i've some experiences with tantric odor - an element of earth . at its most pleasant it is a sweet incense . yours is no less positive ... you smell like a buck in rut ... which can be unsettling , too crazy to the herd .

at least now I know that it isn't so strange, at least not for tantrics

I guess if I had a better sense of smell, I could deal with it better. it's a little distressing trying to deal with an issue that I can't detect.

I guess I can just try to wear lots of cologne or otherwise try to to cover the odor

 

i'm sure you ( Ji , equally rainbow positive) shall become sweet incense

 

one reason people used 't die so young was because they dinna wash...

 

but what did they flip out about?

 

gotta be honest, it would be surprising to me if rainbow folks got that worked up over someones BO... even if it was from tantra. i duno I'm just curious what the overt conflict was, I could see the smell unconsciously motivating/reinforcing someone's already existing irritation.
