For the past three weeks or so I've been having abdominal pain. Doctor said it was caused by a virus that wound up inflaming my intestines. The pain's been lessening as of recent, but it's still a nuisance. So far I've found the only thing that's helped has been cannabis, which I do not have access to currently. Petting my dog or having my bird sit on my shoulder makes the pain less stressful, but it doesn't lessen the pain itself. Anyone have any suggestions as to what might reduce the pain?
Anything for IBS should help. You can get these things called mintec here, and they're little capsules that release peppermint oil into your guts. Pretty cool. You burp and fart mint for a few hours and you know that "cool, soothing" feeling after chewing mint gum? It's like that on yer butt hole.
vapor rub works great to soothe ring of fire bunghole too..the initial burn is craaaaaaaaaaazy but once the cool kicks in it feels great :sunny:
it's possible to relieve them using at home remedies easily and effectively. 1)Try to pinpoint the area of your pain, or rely on your familiarity with the type of cramps. 2)Use breathing to divert your attention from the pain and to help relax you. 3)Sit in a comfortable chair like a recliner. 4)Focus on your breathing. 5)Continue until you notice some improvement or don't feel like doing this any longer. 6)Rest.7)It's important to avoid overloading your digestive system with food that will add to the digestive burden. 8)Avoid any complex drinks, alcohol, or any caffeinated or carbonated drink. 9)Don't eat solid food while you have the cramps or for a few hours following. 10)Easy exercise can aid in cramp relief if the source of the cramps are not muscular. 11)Try to exercise away the cramps. 12)Do not do abdominal exercises if you are experiencing a cramp in your stomach muscles (rectus abdominus). 13)Try yoga. 14)Keep warm and wear an additional piece of clothing around your torso area like a vest. 15)When doing abdominal exercises, know your limits. 16)Place a heating pad, heated wheat bag, or hot water bottle on your back to give temporary relief. 17)Take a soak in a warm bath. 18)Do not take aspirin, ibuprofen, or any other anti-inflammatory medications or narcotic pain medications unless your doctor has seen you and has prescribed these; they can worsen some stomach pains. 19)Notice if there is any food that seems to disagree with your digestive system. 20)Exercise regularly. 21)Keep stress levels under control. That's all I know..If you guys know anything more..Please share with me..
