[High dose] 2C-E: Auditory tear/rip?

I took a pretty high 2C-E the other night and had an 'interesting' time to say the least. Forgetting how to breathe was expected, but it was still a bit freaky.

Anyway, during my peak I would randomly have these audio drops. Everything I heard would pick up in intensity for about 3 seconds and end with a resonating tearing or ripping-like sensation. The sensation was usually followed by another 'forgetting to breathe' moment.

I was convinced, during the experience at least, that this was because I had lost my connections to reality. I convinced myself that it only happened when I literally stopped thinking about anything at all. I told myself it was my mind trying to stop me from not thinking at all.

Now, in retrospect, it might be something to worry about.

What do you think it was? Should I be worried?
Has anyone else here had anything similar happen?

Sounds like auditory hallucinations and I wouldn't be worried about it, They tend to be fairly common on 2ct2 and 2ct7 and I have experienced it on both of those as well as mescaline.

 

i can relate to the "forgetting to breath" thing on 2ce. for me it was on the comedown trying to go to sleep, i was afraid that i would stop breathing if i stopped thinking about it.

it be more worried about that than the audio thing..

Yea, I suppose. I tried to fall asleep on the comedown as well, it is very unnerving. I'm more worried about the audio thing because its something completely unknown to me.

Seriously, that's a heroic dose of a powerful psychedelic. It does insane things to the senses at those doses.

 

I've dosed 2ce as high as 80 mg but I didn't get the full dose cause i vomited 45-60 minutes after complete ingestion (I took 15 minutes to ingest it in water). In fact, yesterday i took 24 mg 2ce at work and it was almost as strong as when I took 80 mg, which wasn't super strong. It was definitely stronger at 80 mg, but so far nothing has come as close to as when I first took 60 mg 2ce which was spectacular. I think next time I'll have to to drink the water over a longer period of time so that more gets absorbed before I vomit.

I got some weird auditory effects from it too when I did 80 mg, me and my friend (who is very sensitive to drugs and only did 18 mg which was very strong for him, almost overwhelming at times), and we both kept thinking we heard our phones ringing even though they weren't and they have very distinct ring tones. Also, at one point I accidentally hit a metal bowl on the sink and it went twangggg and my friend thought he heard someone yell, "GET THE FUCK OUT OF HERE!!!" That's pretty fuckin weird it kinda spooked him lol. Didn't happen again after that one time

i took 40mg of 2ci and tripped ballls u prob had alot more halucinations 2c-e is suposedly stronger

 

Haha yup. I've only gone as high as 60 but i can confirm that weird shit happens to yyour auditory functions. were you listening to music? i've hsd that happen while listening to orion by metallica, felt like space and time ripped apart and i saw the blazing core. so to speak

Also seemed to happen when outside listening to buzzing hum of a/cs radiating through the the nights still airr. I thought it was quite enjoyable, no reason for concern, on a very high dose of a powerful psych, these things are to be expected. :2thumbsup:

 

On higher doses of 2c-e I always get the sensation of my head being ripped apart so to speak. I believe it's just a natural characteristic of the drug.
