I'm not quite sure how to describe what I mean. I have been feeling something a bit bizarre. It starts with chills and goosebumps, but progressively intensifies. Before I go into detail, I need to note a couple things. I have never used hallucinogens or any hard drugs. I doubt I have schizophrenia or any related disorder. The 'bizarre' part of it isn't the chills. I get this feeling, like I have a second body. It's not like I think I have another bag of flesh and bone; it's more like a presence. This feeling lasts anywhere from a few seconds to even a minute at a time. In some incidents, I have had very consistent hallucinations. The feeling used to be triggered by certain sounds. However, in recent years, i have been able to force the feeling. The sensation is actually quite pleasant. I'm probably just losing it.
i have something very similar for its like parts of my body or my whole body feels so light and i can feel like the energy in the body part its pretty weird especially when i meditate
I like that theory! Send one of those phony ghost tracker shows over here and tell them to investigate my septic tank. The mystery of the sinister stool sample!
I dont know if I understand what you are feeling but it could be your astral body. Many have seprated from they phy. body by accdent or in deep medation. Here is a link to a a.p. site http://forums.astraldynamics.com/ desert rat
It is called GOD. Not to be a BIBLE thumper at all. Pray one time to JESUS and you will find a solution. Dunno if this will get me kicked but its worth it.
@ Vividstatic Either you read back to my earlier posts and saw something you didn't like, or this is unfortunate coincidence. Either way, feel no remorse. Believe in what you please. @BBad This makes sense, and would make for a good answer. Anxiety would explain the chills, as well as the state of my where in a hallucination may be possible. @ desert-rat The site gives me a couple cool theories. However, astral projection isn't likely as I can barely lucid dream. Kundalini is less likely, as it seems to require practice. I don't think I could manipulate either with this level of ease. It takes little to no effort. I think I should have pointed that out earlier. Meh. And I still don't know what this pos is. Judging by the context, possession? If that were the case, I think the real victim would be the ghastly guest:devil:
I sometimes get this feeling before I go to sleep like all the physical feelings in my body are felt by another body, does anyone know what I mean? its very weird though, almost feels like my mind is getting separated from my body... weird, and I have never done any psychedelic drugs...
I'd say something along the lines of your astral body... Almost like you're about to have an outer body experience, but not quite. Or pehaps a ghost...
i know what you mean and i have felt similar to this since i was a child. i haven't found the cause for sure but it has caused me to enjoy meditation and pick up the art of studying religions a great deal so i thank it. and i kinda feel the same as the thread started but i think its anticipation for the age of Aquarius
I have heard very specific explanations given for 'phantom limbs.' But that occurs for those who are paralyzed and amputees. I have the same experience at times and I always have. What I have come to discover I will not say as it's too intensely spiritual and personal. Or you can look into the 'body of light' "jalu...." something. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phantom_limb http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Supernumerary_phantom_limb
It sounds like Temporal Lobe Epilepsy (it's not the grand mal seizures most people think of when they think of Epilepsy) Is it kind of like a rising feeling in your stomach? Is it ever accompanied by a sense of deja vu? TLE can cause all of the things you describe, and would only last a minute or 2. As long as they're not affecting your life negatively it's nothing to be too concerned about. I did hear of one woman who had them to the point where she wrecked her car from having one while driving. I used to get these as a kid, but I was never diagnosed because I didn't have the vocabulary to explain what was going on. It wasn't until I learned about it later that I retroactively diagnosed myself. In my case, I grew out of it (which kind of makes me sad; they were kind of cool). It is suspected that Joan of Arc and a lot of spiritual leaders of the past have had undiagnosed TLE. Hope this helped.
Embrace it - for the feeling that comes from within, has a degree of enlightenment Who knows what our E.S.P. there be inside us, many that we do not know - there is always method in the things that we do subconsciously, trusting in them we can gain much - get from it what you can meThinks
These are things that should and used to come naturally to all humans. Don't discount them for lack of previous practice. People, like the ones who set up that site, cannot set "requirements" on such things....unless you let them.
