Street lights, lights on buildings and inside houses. Noise, activity it all never stops it never all goes off. You can turn everything off in your house but hear everything going on in the house next to you. It's amazing people are still sane because things never just stop.
That's very true, but the way our society is going people just don't have time to have everything stop. It's like the saying stop and smell the roses kind of deal. No one does it (or very few people). Also, companies tend to go all hours of the day or 24/7, and people actually go to shop at 3am. I think everyone is going mad, at least a little, from overworking and all the activity going on around us.
I think that what passes for " stop and smell the roses" now is Loren to your iPod or sit down and watch a movie on tv. It's funny how are down time or "quiet time" is now accompanied with something electronic
Too much, too often, too soon. That's the way now. Get with it or die behind the 'cloud', whatever that crap is. I like my ipod and xbox, I'm also one of few in realizing that they have an OFF switch. I don't turn it off because my eyes are heavy either. I just realize "Hmm I've been playing this game for awhile, I think I'm gonna go read a book" Or something along those lines. Sometimes turning my phone off and sitting in the back yard with my guitar is enough for me. You have to calm down sometimes, otherwise its all craziness and the insanity becomes norm...THEN you have problems. Oh yeah and social networking can go fuck itself. I don't want a facebook or myspace. I'll do it if it means giving people easier access to my music when the time comes, but other than that no exceptions. And I'll use a cool sounding Alias, like Bob Reynolds... But yeah, totally with you on the whole...thing you got goin' here. I agree.
Sounds Like You Need To Move To The Country...:sunny:. I Live On A Farm Out Of Town, And Still Depending On Which Way The Wind Is Blowing I Catch The Sound Of An Aircraft, Or A Noisy Motorbike, Inside Here As I Type The Only Sound Is The Fan In My Puuuter, And Me Swearing When I Make Yet Another Spelling Mistake.... The Farm Is On The Market And When It Sells I Am Going To Buy A Smaller Farm Way Out In The Bush With Nothing But The Sound Of Birds, The Wind In The Trees, And GLEN Still Swearing.... Cheers Glen.
Hi, so the interesting question is, how much money do I have to bring and what, besides GLEN, will I get for that money ? Regards Gyro
Money Will Buy You Most Things In Life, And Then There Are Things That No Amount Of Money Can Buy... Cheers Glen.
Hi, Fuchs :2thumbsup: Anyways, this is all I have at the moment: Barely enough to bring me home tonight. Regards Gyro
I lived on a corner of a one way where my window was in sight of the ER for two years in the city. At least 4 to 6 times a day an ambulance would rush by with its siren blaring. You got used to it. After i moved and headed to the country the first week sleeping i was paranoid as hell because i could hear nothing! It was strange to say the least. Now being used to it its great.
