We are interested in starting a small community, we have a small piece of land now (5 acres) and would be interested in working toward purchasing a larger piece of land that is co-owned by members and work towards being self sufficient as much as possible.
For now, I have a place for people to live and work toward the future.
I'm a woodworker / finisher / remodels , etc... My wife is a housecleaner, and we may be able to provide paid work. There is a big town 5 miles away, and a large city 15 miles away with one of the stronger economies of the country lately.
If someone is looking to learn carpentry and cabinetry and make a life for themselves this may be something. I do plan on building a shop here within the year and try to sell cabinets and furniture, etc. instead of having to work for someone else forever.
I/we are looking for the right persons or couple/small family, whatever that could benefit from a sitution like this,
The land is nice, mostly treed, very secluded (pretty much).
You could either bring an rv to live in, van, or there is an old trailer house that could be utilized if needed. and once it is torn down there will be a shop there w/living quarters.
Looking for just mellow nice peaceful kind souls... email me if interested, jeremys73@gmail.com

    Where in the midwest?

Also, I can't leave yet. Gotta finish high school, but then I'd like to take a year off and figure out what I wanna do before college (that is, if college is even an option in a year. What with the crap economy and all).

I can be of service gardening, sewing, and maybe dealing with animals. Work ethic is not an issue.
