I belive in every religion. I think this because no matter what religion it is, we all belive in a higher power of some sort. So there has to be some form of god, or allah, or zeus, or whatever you want to call it. It exists. I think that this higher power has come in a diffrent form for every culture, spawning diffrent religions. When I pray to this higher power, even though it never answers in the form of words. Sometimes it answeres in the form of an event, or an overwhelming emotion. Or an instinct to do something that is right. Sometimes it does not answer. But I belive that it exists. Some greater power that does not control everything, but is it's guardian. It has no story behind it, it takes no single form. It has no divine prescence, but it is always with you. What is this called? Is there a name for it? I have asked others who I know, but they are narrow-minded, and are afraid to grasp the concept. But i know that you can.
ROFL ^ I like that. Believing in a higher power is the only thing that has gotten me through...so that, literally, I'm here...:2thumbsup:
Its like star trek There will be billion upon billion beliefs.. you dont have to choose one, just love them all... Maybe even respect them all.
No we don't. If you must put a label on it, it sounds like agnosticism. However, why does there have to be a label? Why does it have to be a religion?
bureaucracy - they need to know which hell to send each person to not having a label means your application can take longer to process.
I kind of agree with Vigilante....why do you have to put a label on it? The Urantia Book says that JC, aka Michael of Nebadon, had a belief in the First Source and Center of the Master Universe. But it never gave his belief system (a religion if you will) a name. But with regard to the presence that you feel within you, that... is the mystery monitor.
