How is everyone in London?

I am writing from America. Our news media is broadcasting every day; many times each day; about riots going on in London. They say that folks are breaking into stores and stealing stuff out of them. I was listening to National Public Radio last night, and they said that conditions that are probably causing the unrest in London are the fact that there is no employment available for many people, and folks are reduced to this type of behavior because they are at their wits end because they are hungry and see no other way out. That sounds like a horrible situation for you folks - I had no idea that things were so bad over there. Please respond
