Okay so my girlfriend is on the pill and has been for, well about 18 months. We are both 18 years old but find the idea of "risking it" or her being off the pill a nice one. We both have worries of infertility and so would like knowing that we can create a child, of course when off pill. But is this a good enough reason to go off it at this age? We both want to know asap, and my girlfriend is getting bored of taking it, and i understand it must be a pain to have to remember to take it everything morning.

    What are your thoughts?

Go risk it. Only way to find out for you it seems. Go ahead and make a lot of babies that you can't take care of both, physically and economically. Then when you have made the experience you can split up and get a life. :(
