Hello Lesbian World! This is me... I'm Amanda. I am 32, I live in Utah (not exactly the best place to live a liberal lifestyle, but I like it here). I'm from Massachusetts, well, not really... I was born there, but my family played military Uhaul hopscotch pretty much my entire young life. I moved to Utah to attend BYU. It was great... Grad School at The University of Utah was better... I laugh, laugh, laugh... all the time. If you can't laugh about things in life then there's nothing worth living for. I must admit, I can dish it out pretty good, but sometimes can't take it. Oh well... right, we all have faults to some degree. Alice in Wonderland is my favorite movie. The Disney version. I love to play football. My friends call me Fonda. I'm number 25 for The Utah Jynx. Never had the opportunity as a kid. I played soccer, ran track... Hurt myself playing last year but it was a "minor" set back, again... we must laugh at ourselves if we are ever going to make it. Coach told me I was fat and that was part of the reason the ligaments tore so easily, he didn't exactly use the word fat, but he meant it... before you gather your mean words... the doctor told me the same thing. So I lost 30 pounds and it feels great! Last Saturday at 35 pounds less than last year... I blew out my left knee. I'm kind of a dick sometimes... generally I'm funny so I get away with it. It's my defense mechanism. I tend to keep people at an arms length. It's worked to my disadvantage most days. Just something to work on I guess. This is my life... not much to it. I'm pretty simple. I live in a two-bedroom house in Salt Lake City with my amazing partner, Alice. :love: We plan to add an addition to our family at some point in the future. She's my everything. She makes me want to be a better person. The days keep moving forward and I step along with them one foot at a time.
