Marijuana Math Day

Today in math my teacher is making up a problem and the last number is 420. Then Later in that period he starts coughing like he has just smoked osmething. Then we learn to make STEM and Leaves Charts. I dunno it was just kinda weird.

Dood I would be so afraid to ask him that. I think it was just a coincidence. He'd prolly do some shit like call my mom or send me to the AP or somethin stupid. He wouldn't be cool about it at all. But that wuld be cool as fuck if he were a stoner. I betcha he'd gimme a break on the final I'm about to take in his class next wed. My school is gay about exempting finals. You can only exempt one. WTF is that? And if you've missed 5 days of school u can't exempt any. Why? I wish ppl weren't so gay man. The faculty at my school sux. We have to tuck our shirts in man, its so uncomfortable. They say we could smuggle weapons under long shirts but its rly cuz they don't want people "busting slack." Its really dumb. If you walk past them and ur not chewing gum and your shirts tucked in they'll tell you to walk faster. They just look for shit to get on to you about man. I hate it.

here in australia, we wear uniforms. i have tyo wear a tie, tucked in long sleeved shirts, grey trousers, jacket, blakc shoes, and there are hair restrictions, jewelry, makeup (though i go to a boys school lol)


how can you expect to be given leave from your marks? what the fuck do you think you go to school for? if it wasnt for marks and exams, there would be zero point to attending.

you cant exempt any assessments for school over here, if you miss one, you make it up somewhere else.

all schools over here have uniforms, not all of them are that strict about uniformthough. but its teh same situation with assessments/exams at all schools

american teenagers get it good, with more conventional, and less stressful system, no uniforms, and general informity.

but then again, you also get the whole 'authority verses students' which doesnt really hapen, at least at our school

In many American schools, if you have a high enough grade in the class (varies according to the class and teacher, I rarely got to do this despite my high grades, cuz my teachers were assholes), you can skip the final exam.

By the way, we may have it easy, but we're also the dumbest developed country. So it has it's trade offs....

another funny coincidence. yesterday my english teacher was telling us to debate the legalization of marijuana.today he told us to debate whether a high school exit test should be required. a point was that foreigners already think americans have school way too easy. im rambling. i came here just to say that my computer teacher told us she smoked weed. all 15 of us in her class always talk about it because we all do it. RABBLE RABBLE

 

yeah in my school last year we took these tests near 3/4 the year and htye didnt count as a grade they were jsut to see if the teachers were teaching what would be on the test and how well and such but if u got a 90 or above then you were exempt from taking the final and got an automatic 100% on it. man that got me passed for the year in so many. Hey bill if your upset about aussy then move here to america you can even live wiht me we have an extra room, haha and maybe youd have better luck then me finding a hookup in this town lol.

 

Yeah, one teacher said my friend was high during class, he wasn't, and like he had to stay after until like 4:30. That shit wasn't cool he said.

Serious? I don't think that teacher's being very smart about it. I could def understand why a teacher wouldn't admit to smoking (at least in the us ). That teacher could get in a lot of trouble, lose their job, be barred from teaching anywhere else. There are teachers that smoke. My cousins a high school teacher, she smokes and goes to all kinds of crazy concerts but I know she'd never divulge that to her students. Unless of course they bumped into her at a show. That would be kinda funny actually, damn that's Ms. ...... , hey she's smokin a joint!

That whole post about the math class is pretty funny though. Good way to figure out who the other stoners in the room are. Just look around for the other ones who are chuckling or have a weird look on their face.

 

my old history teacher talked to me in front of the whole class about weed for a whole hour. he also asked me when i last smoked which was the lunchtime about 15 mins before. he was cool. used to work for greenpeace and everything

 

well yea, thats true, and id never tell my kids i smoke unless i was 100% sure i'd never be in the same school as them again.

kids apparently find it funny to learn that yes, a lot of teachers do drugs, ...and its really easy to find weed dealers among teachers... we're like everybody else.

its just that everybody has met a lot of teachers and has viewed them as pple who respect the law or somethin like that.
but, your job doesnt define your lifestyle. there are cool teachers, dumb teachers, stoner teachers, racist teachers, hungover teachers, manic-depressive teachers, chocolate-addicted teachers...
and teachers who post on hippie forums

 

one of my teachers (she doesnt teach me any subjects, but shes a drama teacher so were involved with extra curricular) talks to be about smokin. one day me and my friend asked her if she wanted to come chare a joint or something but she sais she doesnt do it anymore. shes always paying me out about smokin so much nowadays lol
