been a lot more lizards running around than usual this year. Lotsa Blue Tailed Skinks, some handsome reddish-brown guys and a rough scaled brown one that gets up to nearly a foot long. Some of "em are pretty mellow, if you just sit still they'll come right up to you.

Fine crop of little tree frogs too. Good sign my garden is healthy I guess. So, thats the farm report, Lizards up, Frogs too.

    OK, that random enough?

You could think of chipmunks as lizards in fur coats if that would help.

In ancient pre-Aztecian cultures, july always was the month of the lizard.
Or in their words (Google translated): 'as the 6th moon makes way for the 8th, the <lizard> crawls and multiplies'.

    Hello,

I think of lizards as naked chipmunks.

    thats sad.
Iguanas dont get very old in captivity, they are mostly dead before 20 years, like cats.

No wonder I couldn't understand what the little guys were saying. I didn't know they were Aztecian, I was listening in Lizardian. Thanks for the info.

    Hello,

I like steaks made from happy cows. On the other hand I think one have to treat cows or animals in general with respect and let them live a life appropriate to their species. It's not that I eat them because I hate them.

    Regards
    Gyro

When I see one I go ape-shit and try to catch it.

    I usually don't succeed.

    Hello,

sure, no harsh feelings here. Well, that is a topic I sometimes think about. I believe that one must not be cruel to animals, they have a right to live in their natural habitat etc. But I also like eating meat. How does this go together? I'm quite sure I won't become a veggie, but it's good to think about that dilemma and maybe come to a conclusion someday.

    Tastes like chicken ;).

    Regards
    Gyro

    Hi,

I haven't seen a lizard for ages. Maybe they are far less common nowadays or something in how I watch the world has changed over the years.

    Regards
    Gyro

I haven’t seen any lizards but Queen Anne’s Lace is the dominant wildflower this year. :2thumbsup:

Every year it's different last year it was goldenrod the year before it was purple loosestrife.
