Do cops make you nervous?

Even though you've done nothing wrong?

Whenever I see a cop or a police car, I get nervous. At airports and borders, I get nervous, and get this feeling that I don't have a right to be there.

Apart from my drug use, I'm fairly law abiding. Yet, whenever I've spoken with cops, even if it's been to report a crime, I get the feeling they suspect me of something and they are almost always condescening.

Where I live, the cops are the biggest crooks of them all - they will find violations and demand bribes. They'll allow a bar to sell drugs, for bribes, and then they'll go and bust the people buying drugs, to solicit an even bigger bribe.

Why is it that the people who are supposed to protect us inspire so much fear? Share your stories, good and bad.

 

I about shit my pants when I see a cop. Especially if theyre stoped at a light next to me. I hate those fucking pricks

They are not out to protect you per say, but to protect the interest and agendas of those in power; as to hold us to their laws being medicated down our throats. They protect interests and behaviors in line with NWO policy.

The truth ? Don't fear any of them. They are men like me and you. We all will stand before God. We all will give account of our works. So will they.

 

Theres a reason why most cops act suspicious and condescending : they get attacked pretty much everyday, whether its actual physical attacks (people suddenly pulling out knives or trying to punch them) or verbal attacks (they get insulted on a daily basis, out of nowhere). their job requires that they encounter a lot of dishonest people, so yea, its only normal that they suspect that u, and everyone else, could suddenly attack them. Also, its actually important that pple continue to be a lil scared of them.
now of course there are dirty corrupted cops and there are idiotic cops, the same proportion exists in all jobs.

Cops don't make me nervous. I just hate the mofos, and I make sure they know it.

 

When I have make up on and I dont match the picture on my id... haaa Im actually looking forward to getting pulled over and strip searched..

 

I don't get nervous around them, because I know they're looking for nervous.

 

They used to make me terribly nervous, now not so much. I never have anything on me when I encounter one (only time we ever have weed on us is when we've picked it up and are en route to go home, and times like these you drive like you have a corncob up your butt), but I still have a pretty big disdain towards most of them.

 

The cops here will fuck with you over nothing. Especially if you have any kind of record. They just look at you once and because the way you look they will think your up to something. Im just parinoid, especially when I drive around with like a qp everywhere i go. probably not smart i know

I have a friend who is a cop who feels the same way when other cops come up behind him

They make me on edge but if i am not doing anything wrong then i do not much care. It still gets me a little when i first see them.

I don't know that they get attacked every day.. I mean, if you try some shit with them, you will pay the price for sure. I have heard this argument before, but I don't think it holds much validity. Sure, they encounter lots of dishonest people, but is that a reason to treat everyone like a criminal?

And I really don't think it's important people be scared of them; why should I fear my protectors? That makes no sense.

Have you really made sure they know you hate them? How has that worked out for you? If a cop wants a word with you where I live, you look down, answer his questions, and try to be on your way. You sure as hell don't try to aggravate him in any way, or before you know it you are faced with the choice of a $2-3000 "fine" or some time in the Bangkok Hilton.

That is really interesting. I would not have thought cops would get the same feeling.

Again, I am pretty law abiding, and I know lots of fine folks who feel the same way. I just don't understand why cops have to be such bastard motherfuckers.
