We love self confidence, we tolerate lying if the person at least pretends to care for our needs, and we like the excitement that the psychopath brings to our lives -- even if vicariously as in the care of politicians. Then again, can we blame the psychopath for naturally going into politics and the corporate world? He/she desires power and is selfish, but then again we seem to like that as a culture.
