Why don't you whine about the current assholes in power.

Because doing so would mean acknowledging that voting for them was a mistake.

I complain about presidents who were in office over a century ago, so of course I'm going to complain about one who was in office a couple of years ago. :) I don't complain unfairly, though. Bush was no worse than Obama. And when Obama exits the presidency, and people start to put a positive spin on all his shit, I'm going to constantly remind them of how horrible he was, lest they forget.

Bush got us into two unnecessary wars. He trashed the laws which protected the economy from UNBRIDLED CAPITALISM, which lead to the economic crisis we have now. He LIED to America about Iraq. He spent TRILLIONS on wars that we could not afford.

He took America from a huge budget surplus to a HUGE BUDGET deficit when he left office. We are still suffering from his actions. He approved the BANK BAILOUTS, didn't he.

And if you think we are not still feeling the effects of his presidency to this day you are delusional.

We can't do anything about Bush's lies and shitty deeds now, what's done is done.

Continuing to talk about what Bush did, only makes him a scapegoat for the incompetence of the current President.

I dont see a difference between Bush and the other recent presidents, for example they were always destroying other countries in secret or open wars all the time.

Yes Glen, only Bush and Bush alone is responsible for the current mess.

The god-like being who is president now, is not responsible. Nor, are any other politicians before, during, or after Bush in any way responsible.

When he is tried for crimes against humanity and goes about removing all the "puppet" leaders in other nations he setup; The perhaps I'll stop complaining about him.

George Bush is a stupid man from a family that is just pure evil. The entire Bush family are Nazis and I don't mean that in the proverbial sense. Everything that is currently going on in this nation is their fault.

Nazis are racists, believe in exploitation of the weak, technology should be pursued at all costs and fearful of all socialist dichotomy.

But more than all of that, they are thieves.

Despite of all their big speeches about patriotism and values, they are the greediest bastards you will ever find. They all start off on their careers on with big plans about changing society and putting their nation in its rightful place of prestige. But soon as the money starts rolling in, they quickly grow board of their vision and start counting dollars. Keeping up the pretense only so much as it keeps the cash flow coming in.

And that's what happen to America.
It took 3 presidents but finally everything was in place and they started taking everything.. Including the claw hammers used to get the stuff that was nailed down.

If you don't believe me, just do some research on Nazi Germany and see how scarily our nation mirrors it.

:2thumbsup:....I really don't see much of a difference in any politician either. Except that each one is a bigger liar and crook than the one that preceded them.

I agree 100%, George Bush IS a stupid man. To stupid to be solely responsible for everything that's going on. I wouldn't go as far as to call his family Nazi's but they are thieves.

Our nation mirroring Nazi Germany is a scary thought,..I certainly hope you're wrong about that.

It is common knowledge that Prescott Bush, George jr's grandfather, was Hilter's banker and financial adviser. But if you dig much deeper in to the Bush family you will discover all kinds of things that will just scare the hell out of you.

There isn't much available on the Internet but all I can say is that if you ever feel up to spending two weeks going through old newspapers and government documents you would be surprised at what you read. I'll sum it up for you, "they're nazis" and the evidence is so overwhelming that it is beyond reasonable doubt.

I have no problem sorting out the misdeeds of Bush and Obama.

Both have much to answer for. Both have abused their powers and lied to the American people.

In fact by comparing the two you can easily see how little difference it makes who is president, because we get screwed in any case, while the corporations rip us off big time.

This is it in a nutshell for me... it indicates that the president is little more than a figurehead for a congress that serves its corporate masters, paying only lip service to the people- and mostly during election time at that- showing just how ignorant we've collectively shown ourselves to be.

I get the sense that corporations are offered much greater freedoms than the sheep they intend to fleece- and it's the government's job to hold us down while the corporations brandish their clippers.

I have a Cuban penpal that I've been corresponding with since childhood. He lived through the revolution and assures me that his life was saved by it.

Ignoring the communism versus capitalism debate; he told me once that the only real election in a democracy is a revolution. And the only way to ensure politicians serve the people is with a guillotine in front of the government buildings.

That's because the decisions he made and carried through, affects us today. He is responsible for at least part of our economic situation now and he is 100% responsible for the unnecessary deaths and maiming of 1000s of American soldiers, sailors and airman in Iraq.
