ABBA: "Take A Chance (On Me)", "Fernando", and a couple others. I liked the songs when it first came out. Haven't heard them in several years, but when they do come on the radio, I tend to listen to it rather changing the station.
My only guilty pleasure i can think of at the moment is ABBA's "fernando"...i dont know why, it actually kind of makes me laugh at the song, but its not that bad a song really... I do admit that christina has an extrodanary voice compared to singers today...but she is no janis joplin...not janis by a loooooooooooooooong shot!
hehehehehe! ehhh... i mean.. that's a fantastic guilty pleasure. madcrappie- yes but only if we can have a keg of corona at the wedding. and free acid.
Mine would have to be Michael Jackson. I used to watch the making of Thriller over and over again. Ow! Oh yes and Christina does have a fantabulous voice.
I always tell everyone i'm a closet britney spears fan. I also enjoy listening to Kelly Clarkson and avirl lavigne.
I find myself loudly singing along to Hilary Duff and Lindsay Lohan once in a while... but I guess it's not really a guilty pleasure because I don't hide it. I guess "The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face" by Celine Dion would be my guilty pleasure. Me and my sister listen to it while doing ballet-type movements... haha.
Nothing wrong with a bit of Blondie! I like quite a bit of what I've heard and I don't think were ever considered too 'pop' until their reform really (Pop surely being the most embarrasing genre!). Justin Timberlake's "Cry My A River" is pretty disgraceful like! But the mention of it reminded me I like NSync's "Bye Bye Bye" quite a bit. That's an embarrasing one, definitely. How is Nellie McKay perceived in the States? I downloaded her album last week and enjoy a lot of that, but she seems to be bordering on cheese to me.
aww i'm sure you have.. i wasn't makin' fun! i have some really bad albums in my cd case.. also, i'm a closet fan of SNOOP DOGG and i've seen him twice in concert
I saw her on Ryan Seacrest this summer and I liked the song she played so I listened to some others of hers... some were good but with others, I didn't know whether to laugh, if she was trying to be funny, or cringe, if she was being serious. She's not very famous in North America to my knowledge.
ive been a die hard Hanson fan since 3rd grade i like george michael...and michael jackson i have the 1st Spice Girls cd i bought the Titanic soundtrack
