I read this book a couple years ago in school. I found it hard to put down. Most people i know haven't even heard of the book. Has anyone read it?
I read it. I really liked it too. Gemma was a **** though. All of her actions were based upon trying to fit in (although, that was pretty obvious.) Now that I'm thinking of it there were some weird names in that book...Gemma & Tar? wtf? haha
Just finished it the other day. I would recommend it highly. I found it to be a easy and satisfying read. I like the British colloquilisms like the word,"fag" to mean cigarette. I think it's around 250 pages. My wife recommended it to me. Get this book if you have an interest in Heroin addiction.
i read this. I was in rehab for heroin addiction and someone gave it to me. i found the representation pretty realistic and I liked the subtheme of anarchism and squatting
