I know of so many "miracle" cures by marijuana but at last I found one that worked for me! Besides helping me with a multitude of issues, like insomnia and back pain, I discovered a new use for cannabis.

I had just read in Treating Yourself magazine about a woman who used cannabis to cure a skin cancer on her nose. I had also just made my first cannabis tincture using alcohol and decided to give it a try on a wart I'd had for at least 10 years on my shoulder. The wart didn't really bother me, except I'd pick at it now and then and remove the outer layer, but it would grow right back.

So I applied the tincture to the wart on two occasions a few days apart. Then I completely forgot about it for like a month. And then today I started to pick at it, and voila! There is nothing but smooth skin underneath! I'm shocked, it's gone!

This is great news cause over the past year, I've had an outbreak of warts or some other skin disorder on my back, which I attribute to spending so much time everyday on the beaches of Queensland, Australia a few years ago. I'm a bit worried they might develop into skin cancers. I can't wait to try it on them.

All hail cannabis, the natural cure all!

To make your own tincture is very easy. Grind up cannabis, put in a jar, cover with alcohol or glycerin to about an inch above the material. Shake it well everyday for a month. Then strain it thru a coffee filter. That's it! Store it in a dropper bottle or other glass container with tight lid.

You can also take it sublingually (under your tongue) for a quick rush.

If you let the alcohol evaporate, you will get some very nice oil you can smoke. I recommend using everclear alcohol, btw.

Do you think it would work for acne?

seems like a good way to put cheap schwag to use.

They talked about this type of tinicture for skin cancer on "Run From the Cure: The Rick Simpson Story". I wonder if this will work on acne as well and scars.

I really can't say since it's been around 40 years since I had any acne. I would guess no since there are going to be minute particles of cannabis that might clog your pores, which could make it worse. Likewise you wouldn't want to put a cannabis salve on it either as it too would tend to clog up the pores.

One thing I found that reduces acne is to keep your skin clean. Wash your face as much as possible during the day and don't touch it otherwise. Stay away from greasy foods too (all that deep fried shit).

Very cool on the wart story front, I love hearing stories about how amazing cannabis is at curing practically everything.

Medicine cures things, but medicines are not the cure, they just open up your mind and allow the process of self healing to happen, like a catalyst. And what better a drug for facilitating that process than cannabis

..using lukewarm water and no soap. Once a day at most, and drink plenty of water.

I wash my face roughly twice a week, no need to do it any more often than that, unless you have a reception to go to.

Skip, I'm super glad you posted this because I have an obnoxious little wart on my finger that just won't go away and I am terrified of the solutions they have at the store for them. I'll have to look into doing the same, your idea sounds so much less terrifying than melting it off with chemicals or freezing it.
