No Time is an arena. The gift is our existence. If we choose to do nothing.. time passes at same rate
If we choose to be a hero or president exct. time passes at same rate.

Subjective time is crap. Reality does not operate on subjective time.

You call time a mindfuck. and in some ways that is true. More than you realize. For instance the faster you move the slower time passes for you.
Eisensteinian dilation means that if you go very fast. time slows 'for you relative to others' to a crawl. physically. That is if you go near the spead of light time slows for you. And when you come back to earth. everyone is older. [there is a math equation for the rate of change, the tau factor]

Time dilation turns reality on its head. Everything we thought was solid and secure is crap if time itself is plastic.

    Welcome to reality

You break the past from what is to be.. [the future] by choice.

unless you are a determinist. And all determinists are only such because the power of the past engorges them with a will to predict.. what?
You have some power in your worthless life if you can predict
nothing. Funny how the determinists never predict anything right. While i. a non determinist predicted fall f USSR in 1978

You still have a linear perspective as though time accumulates and attrits.
Both the past and the future are constructs of current emergence.

Watched the "Through the Wormhole with Morgan Freeman" episode about time pretty interesting stuff.

    I beg to differ..
    My perspective is.

Newtonian mechanics is predictable.. a determinists dream. event> result..
cause and effect.. this is seen to be true in our 'verse
    Without contradiction.

Determinism says the event is directly linked to the previous result. a 'yes' long linear chain
Thus all can be predicted. determined. from any set situation.

This is false. Quantum theory and experimental result show. That ramdom particals without cause appear and vannish all the time.. They upset the cascading sequence of determinism.

    Ergo

Set ONE. 1 nanosecond after bigbang. in determinist theory will result in exactly our present world. Newton.
    False
Our present world is a product of set one + newtonian mechanics +quantum indeterminacy.

And this is an ongoing process
Q indeterminacy does not stop.. It just takes a long time to filter through
    to gross physical reality

Of set of particles that appear without cause 3 billion years ago we kow just see the gross result outside newton
