Has anyone seen this? I saw it yesterday at the Birmingham Sidewalk Film Festival (my friend's film one 3 awards!) and really liked it. It's a horror film from Sweden about a boy who is terrorized at school by bullies and meets a girl next door who turns out to be a vampire.
This trailer doesn't do it justice:

Just wondering if anyone's seen it and what they thought. It's only been released at film festival's and such in America, but should be screening in select cities soon.

I first saw Let Me In, the American remake of this movie and like most reviewers and audiences, really liked it.

Of course the purists who hate anything because it is Hollywood said they didn't like it even before seeing it. (Movie elitists are just as annoying as any other)

I found the Let the right one in DVD in the dollar bin at Blockbuster and saw it tonight. It was good, and structured the same as the American remake and the kid actors were much the same. The reason I liked Let Me In better was perhaps being done in English. Let the right one in is in Swedish with dubbing. Ugh. Wish they had just gone with subtitles.

One of the best movies of the decade.

Didn't they have a subtitle option?

I never watch anything dubbed. Watched a downloaded copy with subs.

Great film! The remake, Let Me In, was not bad and follows this film closely.
