I've had thoughts on balance for as long as I can remember. But if everything was in balance, there would be a standstill. When some spiritual teacher was asked "Why is there suffering?" he replied "To thicken the plot." But if you want to go beyond the whole good/bad concept, look at daoism. (copy pasta) There is a story of a farmer whose horse ran away. That evening the neighbors gathered to commiserate with him since this was such bad luck. He said, "Maybe."The next day the horse returned, but brought with it six wild horses, and the neighbors came exclaiming at his good fortune. He said, "Maybe." And then, the following day, his son tried to saddle and ride one of the wild horses, was thrown, and broke his leg. Again the neighbors came to offer their sympathy for the misfortune. He said, "Maybe." The day after that, conscription officers came to the village to seize young men for the army, but because of the broken leg the farmer's son was rejected. When the neighbors came to say how fortunately everything had turned out, he said, "Maybe." Fun stuff to think about!
I have my reply , but I am going to hold it to myself because most of you here worship Science, believe in evolution and global warming and basically have the mind set of obedient NWO drones. My understanding, foundation and intelligence concerning this matter of balance, true balance, is superior. Trying to convince the ignorant and unwilling is not my cup of tea tonight...maybe some other night when I have more energy.
Hahah... you're not going to bother answering because we're idiots and you're of a superior intellect? This from someone who evidently does not "believe" in evolution? Yeah, you're coming off like a real genius now. I can't tell if you're trolling or not.. I hope you are, for the sake of my faith in humanity.
Whoa. You seem awful sure of this, almost as if you're saying it's so, and not proposing this is how it might be. And you're essentially saying that everyone who was born into unfortunate circumstances simply failed to meditate enough, and therefore it's now their fault their lot in life sucks? By that rationale, pretty much all of us in the west must have been Eastern mystics in our previous life.. My thought on this is that it doesn't jive very well at all with my beliefs. I don't believe in a petty, vindictive god, and I believe the consequences of our mistakes and unenlightened actions take other shapes entirely. I do believe in reincarnation and I think that spiritual awareness in this life can make it easier for us to choose how to be reincarnated, or choose not to be, but I believe the universe to be based in love, an abundance of love for all things, microscopical to gargantuan. Therefore any "hell" or non-christian equivalent of divine punishment is illogical to me.
:smilielol5: RUN AWAY! RUN AWAY! "It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt" I guess for now we will just have to think you are a fool rather than reading your reply that has taken days to formulate and knowing for sure.
I am righteous through Christ. John 14:15-17 "If you love me, you will obey what I command. And I will ask the father, and he will give yo another Counselor to be with you forever- the Spirit of truth." I can tell you the truth but you will not believe. You will believe the deception of the world and what it wants you to think as truth. I am done for now, I know what to say about this balance issue and it will rock your socks off.
Kid, you have 9 posts, are 17 and you think your fucking with me ? You best check who the fuck your messing with...
I got an answer to this, and it relates to the philosophy sub-forum I just tried. The suffering losers who have no chance of getting out of disgrace can find the absolute kharma real in the next life. Except, they won't know if they are under the pressure raps of the previous life. Re-incarnation Kharma may be the answer. And the powers in control of that are indeterminate with respect to historical time; eh?
