I have a job interview on Thursday

It's for a cable/Internet company. I really hope I get a job offer, as I haven't had cable in over two years, and one of the perks for working at that particular company is free cable and Internet. The 25% increase in pay would be nice too.

Good luck with it! Getting in with a cable company is awesome...I know they are tough to get into...I've been trying with my local cable company for months, but its ok, I think Verizon is about to make me an offer

I wish you the best of luck...coming from the place of NOT getting, ever, an interview (except for the jobs you absolutely do not want!) I've discovered, and been told - by more successful people...when you interview:
act nice, but like not TOO nice...don't smile much or big, not over a grin (that is hard for me since my facial muscles naturally pull into what would be considered a complete smile - which is BAD for getting a job)
The more you listen, and less you talk, the better. Even when they ask you if you have questions, they aren't expecting (or wanting) but maybe one.
I'd be very interested in how the interview goes, what happened, etc.

 

Hopefully within the next year or so, I'll be the doing the interviewing, as I'm nearly finished with my human resources and development degree.
