Webcam and Audio question

Ok, so I'm trying to make videos of my playing some of my songs.

Here's what's happening

-my guitar is plugged into the computer
-the computer is running 2 different programs for what I need recorded
-one program is just for guitar, and one is for a drum machine

I can get a video of me playing guitar with sound but the drums won't record. So what I need to do is find away to record 2 programs at once while still recording video.

Does anyone have any idea?

....It's probably gonna be a real simple answer too.... I can always figure out the most confusing things but it's the little things like this that fuck me over.

Also, the guitar and drums are on two different audio driver things. The guitar is through ASIO and the drums are just from Direct Sound (they will be put together eventually though)

I give up on studio shit, got this killer processor, software all that that jazz.. shit still comes out tarded!!

 

If both your drums/guitar are being played through your computer I think you can just record system audio (go into control panel > sound). Fiddle around in there, lookup video on how to record system audio. You might need to download new sound drivers or something.

Or you could just record the video/guitar and add the drums later. If the drums help you with timing, just play the drums IRL on a boombox or something, then edit it into the video later.

 

Seriously dude I used to make vids with multiple sound tracks and shit all the time and unless you wanna drop $1000 bucks on an all-in-one program I suggest recording them separately and then editing them together. It really not that hard to sync them up.

 

webcam is using for take online video and chat.

 

Yeah idk could never for the life of me get my audio to work on webcams pretty dumb it should just work right away but no.
