So I was going for burgundy/brown and ended up with purple...like the really bright, plum purple. :sunny: Any suggestions for a way to get them brown without totally fucking my hair? The last thing I want is orange hair (or purple for that matter) on my wedding day in a month.

Why not dye them dark brown, and then put a lighter brown on top. This may work :3

I just used henna and it actually works really well and doesnt harm your hair nearly as much as regular dye.

Hurry and tie-dye it before your wedding.

and make sure it's pure henna, or it could cause a nasty reaction. Maybe try it only on one dread first

edit: Congratulations on your wedding day! :D

Put henna on it and you can never use "real" color on it again. Coats it/causes a chemical reaction that would cause your hair to break/fall off. Be forewarned.

Lol, yeah, im actually really liking the purple now! Ive gotten lots of compliments on it, and my mom of all people is in love with it! Haha.

I was origionally considering henna, but you say I can never use box color again? Hmmm...

So I guess its either purple or brown for the wedding :D
