I was wondering if anyone has had problems with their hotmail accounts. The last 2 days, I'm able to log on to my account, but can't open emails or move around on the site-I'm not even able to send a message to their customer service center. Anyone have a clue or have had similar problems?
I just had to cancel my hotmail account after 16 years. It had been hacked and it was sending out bogus emails to my contact list. I changed the password and it did nothing. Hotmail couldn't help either so i switched to gmail and shut my hotmail down.
I've had my hotmail account hacked into several times. I haven't switched yet though because I've had it for soooooo long and it's a pain in the ass to switch because I use that account for EVERYTHING. I guess it's finally time go switch.
I've been using hotmail since I was about 14 (had several different emails since then), but I'm yet to encounter any such problems like the one/s that you've listed Bob and MQ. So far so good on my end. Does what I need it do for work.
The thing is still frozen-I've concluded that hotmail is worthless. I'd move some of my important emails to another account, but I can't do anything on the account except to log on and log off.
i get 'security certificate invalid', but only sometimes. the stupid system claims the cert will not be valid until 5/11/2011. duh. mikey's a big, big target.
Yep hotmail is becoming famous for being vulnerable to hacking. You can't even look at your contact list? check your facebook, sometimes that list has already been sent there for addiing or finding new friends and you may be able to copy and paste it to Word or something and then import to Gmail. Gmail seems to be pretty safe and has some nice features for blocking or auto deleting unwanted emails.
I had other problems a while ago then my BF said "It's a free service, of course there's gonna be problems!
