The jury was lazy in my opinion...that and they were probably stupid. That's how most Americans operate...laziness and stupidity...
It definitely is. But I won't take it back because if WE, the PEOPLE were getting annoyed and sick of hearing it, imagine what they had to go through?!
the jury did their job just fine its the state prosecutors that botched it by not proving their case and by over charging
i don't know man... when a child goes missing for over a month, whose disappearance wasn't even reported by the parent(s), and who was found extremely close to home in a bag with duct tape over her mouth... extraordinary
maybe that is the case, since I didn't follow the case-I wasn't at all interested in it since we had our own child murder cases up here within the last few months to a year...so let me rephrase my initial statement... The court system is stupid and lazy...the jurors were just the pawns in the game of ridiculousness. Excuse me, please, while I go spark up a joint outside my local police station and see how long it takes until I'm sentenced to 10 years
It was not the jury who failed in this, but the prosecution. It was the prosecution's job to prove that Casey Anthony was guilty beyond a shadow of a doubt and they failed to do so. I don't agree with the outcome at all, but the jury couldn't find her guilty just because it all sounded fishy. The justice system is based on the phrase "innocent until PROVEN guilty" period. The prosecution failed to prove her guilt.
yeah, seems to me like they view the real crime as to lying to cops. now let's watch the bitch get time served, and she can go back home, smoke some rock, and squirt out another kid to "drown in a pool".... okay, also, correct me if i'm wrong, but how did the body of caylee end up in the woods? shouldn't there be an obstruction of justice at the least? cuz i know if i'm driving down the highway and i throw a roach out the window as i'm getting pulled over, they're nailing me with obstruction. Bullshit!
Well... Whenever someone accidentally dies in my pool, we usually put duct tape over their mouth and nose as a ritual.
Does this happen often? My opinion is that she is as guilty as sin- and I have Nancy Grace to thank for that. It's debatable whether a fair trial could have been possible thanks to the tireless persistence of that one-woman lynch mob- they must have looked under rocks to find jurors not poisoned by the several years coverage- though Ms Grace should really thank Casey Anthony personally because without the means of perpetrating justification for her self-righteous bitchery through the little girl's murder, Nancy likely wouldn't have a syndicated "justice" program that enables her to pose for the camera and show the terminally gullible what a bastion of right-thinking statue of pretentious and narcissistic autobot she is so that Joe Schmoe of East Bumfuck Idaho can spend his budget of outrage on a local case of murder in Florida instead of on what his representation in Washington is doing to his future as well as that of his children. Keeping the sheep divided against one another instead of united against the real criminals.
Stinky has not watched the tube in nearly three months. I used to watch some brain sucking crap every Friday... one of the shows was immediately followed by Nancy Grace tirelessly beating the Casey Anthony drum- week after week, month after month- over a couple years. I recall thinking to myself, "Is this bitch building a whole career on this one local murder?" the answer apparently was, "yes".
