So I really want to put some feathers in my hair but I was wondering what would happen when I went swimming or when I wash my hair in the shower? Will it ruin the feather?

no but really there are some kind of feather extensions that I imagine are water proof
    maybe try with those

edit: just realized, you can see them in Steven Tayler's hair, the thin yellow ones

oo i love feathers :) here are some really nice ones http://www.fraggletribe.com/index.php?cPath=85_116
but they do tend to go ugly under water.. i've actually never seen a person with feathers attached "permanetly".. how are you planning to do that?

Awww, love the feathers from that side, also adore the clothes! I've been looking for places with clothes like that... I've got two left hands and so fail utterly at making them myself... Do you know any other places? Pretty please?

Feather hair extensions have become a big deal out here
all the people I know without locks are getting them:

I don't know how they would attach in dreads, but they claim to be washable.

the feathers used for hair extensions are the same type fishermen use for lures, which is why they don't get destroyed by being in water. it's funny to me how fishermen and young women are now fighting for the same feathers. the fishermen are not pleased
