ok i am getting scared cos i am going to go get hair ripped out from my underarms and bikini areas today... i need some sympathy and prepping... i am such a whoos but last time i went the lady was horrible to me and made it extra painful on purpose (there is something instantly hateable about me to some people)... ...ARRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHH will be my last words...
well 1 if she is rude to you and starts being a jerk, just tell her to fuck off and go somewhere else...no need for you to put up with peoples shit like that and 2 if she is nice and its still painful....just think about the good that will come out of you getting waxed...you'll be smooth for awhile...i guess?

try sugering....i've never had it done but i've heard that it hurts less cuz it doesn't cling to the skin.
If you take an aspirin an hour or two before you go, it helps. I've only ever gotten my eyebrows waxed, and that kills. I have to get myself ready and talk myself into it! Luckily, me eyebrow hairs grow really slow, so I only get it done like every other month. You might want to try going to someone different. Some people are just gentler than others.
take a few ib profin and exhale while she rips the strips off. I got my eyebrows and bikini area done a few nights ago and I had mascara all over my face by the time she was done. I cry like a baby but I am way to vain to ever stop.
I've gone the waxing route before...ouch ouch ouch, man. Dang. One hint: Make sure that she's holding your skin nice and tight. If she doesn't, your skin will snap back and hurt like a bitch. Bellefire, I'm actually looking into permanent hair removal I think I'm going to make an appt with my dermo, that's probably a good place to start. I wouldn't want to go somewhere sketchy and get some kind of disease. As for waxing eyebrows...I do mine all the time. I'm a brunette, and my eyebrows grow in very dark and very quickly... I get them done every 3-4 weeks. It doesn't hurt anymore. The only part I hate is plucking, that makes my eyes stream. Anyone gone the permanent route?
oh yeah..also ask her to run her hands in cold water right before she takes the wax off cuz they usually apply pressure with their hands after taking the wax off and if they have cold hands it really really helps alot
thanks guys...well i did go to a different lady. she was nice, but terrible!!! i had never had my underarms waxed before but it took her forever and it was pretty brutal - today im happy with it thou... bikini was a bitch as well..she did a pretty shit job and was a bit fumbly... i dunno i dont thinkill go back to her..she's givin me a few nightmares already!!! hahaha ahwell, the price we lady's pay for vanity! btw: nice tips too...ill think about it for next time
well all ican say is before she rips the paper off take a deep breath and as she rips of the paper let it out it wont hurt as much. I know i used to get my eyebrows, pits, and my bikini area waxed 4 times a week.
