I really don't get the fascination people have with Jack Daniel's. There's so much smoother, better tasting whiskeys out there. And it has that real strange kick to it.
I like crown. Here's a good drink It's called the southern hospitality: In a rocks glass southern comfort and watermelon pucker with just a little red bull. Another is a grasshopper: it's creme de menthe and creme de cocoa with milk shaken. It tastes like mint chocolate chip ice cream. When I bartended these two got the best results.
i know i sound like a welsh egomaniac - but penderyn whiskey is a nice one. i recommend it, with a dab of water. it's quite young, but people really like it - it became a favourite in most weatherspoon pubs around the uk.
^^^ chicks like these. And margaritas, coolers, etc. Anything bright and colourful that tastes fruity.
My 18th birthday, all I could think about was noon, so I could go get one of these. I'm not a cocktail drinker, i prefer just Vodka and orange juice, but I have never met a girl who doesn't like Belini's!! Moxies Bellini Recipe 15 oz Lamb's White Rum 26 oz Peach Schnapps 26 oz Sparkling Wine (the cheap stuff) 10 Litres Sprite 10 Lires Soda Water 1 454g Package of Peach Koolaid Combine in vat, stir 'til koolaid is dissolved and load into slush machine. Without a slushy machine, you really can't duplicate this recipe. Pour into a glass and add some Boon's Sangria. From http://www.artofdrink.com/drinks/cocktails/when-is-a-bellini-not-a-bellini/
Long Island Iced Tea seems to be the best way to go. Only, ask for a Long Island Iced Tea with orange and cranberry(OCLIT), instead of Coke and sour mix. OCLIT is MUCH better, imo. HINT: Applebees has Long Islands for $2.50 each around here, which is cheap as fuck.
I'm Scottish, would you expect anything else from me? Champagne cocktails are always nice too, if you want to avoid the hobo look
Most girls love Long Island Iced Tea's. Be careful-don't get too drunk too early. Pace it. Mixed drinks can really hit people-they don't realize how much they are drinking. And be careful about mixing alcohols-stick to one type of alcohol. Unless she's a good drinker. If she's not I'd recommend one at dinner and get another later. There's nothing worse than having a long night planned but having it ruined early by drinking at dinner at Applebees. I like trying to 'surf' as I call it. Drinking and reaching that 'perfect drunk' and then trying to keep that pace for the night. Remember once your drunk there's still more in your stomach waiting to get into your system. You can always hit a bar at the end of the night.
I come from a hard drinking city, and though I enjoy a nice stiff glass, I just simply don't understand how people enjoy becoming loud obnoxious retards that can't even walk. I'd much rather be/be with an unstable incoherent babbling about seeing crazy shit while sitting in the corner staring at the wall. :2thumbsup:
