Why does Fade to Black make me feel better?

    Sad songs seem to be the best cheer up music.

    Sad songs help during sad times because i feel a relation to the artist as if im not alone in the given situation.

    Music is a powerful way of sharing between the artist and listener.

    Lonely day buy system of a down, whenever I'm down that's the tune.
    And, I don't even like the band , at all really.

    I've listened to this song when someone has passed. Although it has brought tears to my eyes, its a feeling that the person who died is perfectly ok with it. The acceptance of death i guess.
