rhythmbox alternative? (ubuntu)

    i'm looking for an alternative to rhythmbox that will still allow me to update music and podcasts on my ipod. rhythmbox used to work perfectly for this, but lately it has been crashing a lot and i just don't want to deal with it.

    any suggestions?

    Amarok is a good alternative what is the debug output of rhytmbox?

    i don't even know what you mean by debug output, total linux newbie here, but i'll give amarok a try!
