This thread is about money. The aesthetics of money, to be specific. Canada is notorious for being accused by Americans as having "Monopoly money" because our bills have more colours than a lovely shade of grey. Well, look at the new notes:

Just let it sink in for a bit. Look at it. It's AMAZING.

And it got me wondering... What do you think is the coolest looking money?

You know, they say money doesn't grow on trees. But what if they made leaves money? Then money would look naturally beautiful AND it WOOD grow on trees!

    Here's a bunch of tenners-

Hundred dollar bills are counter fitted much more than any other Canadian currency. That's why a lot of places don't accept them.

Sorry about that typo! Auto-correct can be a bitch. Fake fives and twenties are common, but not as much as hundred dollars ones used to be a few decades ago. It's just that they still have that reputation.

These days 'merkins would be well advised to refrain from making disparaging comments about other country's currencies as the spending power of out oh-so-venerated greenback is in a free fall that's being helped along by a series of economic and monetary policies that make sense only if you assume that our government is deliberately trying to destroy the economy and impoverish its own people.

Our currency looks like something available at "Toys 'r' Us"
