Re-assure me? :)

I have a few dreads in my head, and I've used to different methods. Some have had the backcombing method (least favorite) and others have had the twist n rip method. I've had the twist n rip one in for about three weeks now, and it still kinda looks like a braid. Is that normal?

 

nothing will look like dreads for a couple of months, just chillax

yeah, just palmroll them, they will look messy for a month or 6

 

hair that's "put in" so to speak with crochet, tnr or backcombing usually undoes itself a bit before re-doing itself so don't worry, just enjoy the ride
