My grandfather worked at a paper mill, and every now and then they'd get a guy sucked through the rollers, and they always came out flat. My grandfather used to say "looked like a steamroller ran over him."

All I can think about is when you smash one end of a pizza roll.

 

My dad used to work in this factory where they had printing presses. One guy got his hand pulled in somehow and his hand got pressed. He didn't lose it, he even got to "keep" it. It was a little flattened though. And every winter in the cold weather his flattened hand would turn super white.

If I had a crazy flat hanging-there hand, I would definitely look into getting that cut off.
