Would it be safe to use Advanced Nutrients pH Up instead of lye? Or does anyone know of safe alternatives to Lye that would be available at Lowes, Home Depot, or a hydroponics store( safe hydroponic pH Up)? HomeDepot/Lowes doesn't have Lye or KOH, just Sodium Carbonate as Pool pH Up. I'd prefer 100% lye/KOH if possible but i can't find anything around here (Western United States).
