The ultimate Hippie movie needs help

My name is Bobby White and I have been working for the last three years to create the ultimate hippie movie. It is self financed and we are shooting our hippie scenes on July 6th and 7th. Our story is about two Amish teenagers on Rumspringa in the summer of 1967. They buy an old car to take a cross country trip and their car breaks down. They can't afford to get it repaired so they are about to go back to the Amish. Just when they think their journey is over, a busload of Hippies heading to the Monterey Pop Festival offers them a ride to California.

We have spent the last two summers turning a 1961 city transit bus into the ultimate hippie bus for the film. Check out pictures of the bus, our cast and locations here:

Here is my question. How can I best connect with the hippie community? We need to raise $4,000 to complete this project before July 6th. Anyone who donates will get a groovy paper version of our hippie bus and a lapel pin designed by the Japanese artist who painted Benny the Hippie bus.

This film is a short film that we want to premiere at the Santa Barbara Film Festival in January. The head of Focus Features who wrote and produced the fantastic film Taking Woodstock is interested in seeing the short and possibly producing the feature version of it.

It may be a little late to mention this but a 1961 bus would only be 6 years old and more than likely beyond the financial means of most hippies at the time.
